Applications

Residential
Utilities across the country are running into some hefty competition, and it is not from a new electric company. People all over the world, with Japan and Germany leading the way, are turning towards the sun for electricity and heating needs. While solar technology has been available for over a century, it is just recently becoming cost effective. Purchasing solar panels to power your home provides many benefits including energy independence, adding value to your home and once installed they require very little maintenance.

The SunSine AC Module provides a code compliant solution which truly performs as a solar appliance, generating electricity locally in your own home. Designed to interconnect with your existing utility service, the SunSine AC Module has plug-and-play wiring, power electronics and our patented mounting kits all in one complete and robust package.

Solar electric power works for most homes. Our residential solar systems are engineered to work with most roofing materials, in most locations where direct sunlight is available, in almost every region of the United States.  Partial shading from trees or other obstructions is not a problem and will not reduce the practicality of a specific installation. A south-facing roof area is optimal, but solar electric panels can be mounted on west- or east- facing roofs and still produce better than 90 percent of the power of a true south roof mounting.

Commercial
There are many commercial applications for the SunSine AC Module.  Commercial applications feature a much larger set of customer benefits including hedging against rising electricity prices, electricity cost savings, and environmental branding.  Commercial consumers can achieve additional benefits associated with the lifecycle cost of electricity (LCOE).

In a Commercial system installation, the SunSine AC Module provides significant value by maximizing system energy generation. With an AC Module, system downtime is significantly lower and the module-level monitoring allows quick troubleshooting. Traditional solar systems can often take up to a day on site to track down problems, resulting in significant lost energy and added maintenance cost. Using technologies that feature a low LCOE like the SunSine AC Module provides customers with many long term, sustainable benefits.
